New Shop Location, New Blog

I have to say I've been ignoring blogging for a long time. I have a blog for my son, Brendan, but I couldn't even tell you how to get there. It's been too long.

I figured I'd start blogging since I've moved my shop location to get the word out to friends of McCue's Mercantile.

If you don't know anything about McCue's Mercantile, here's some background: The shop was located on 313 Main St. Oley, PA 19547. A small gift shop with country and primitive home decor and gifts as well as gourmet food mixes and coffee. The very cool thing about the location was that it was in the same building as the Pottery Studio where Dolores Kirschner runs classes for teens to adults.

We are now located at 1365 Alleghenyville Road in Knauers - Mohnton area in the same building as the dog groomer and Hop on Over Bead Shop. Here's a pic for ya.

The bead shop is a really cool place that you can learn to make your own jewelry with lots of different classes as well as pick up georgous semi-precious, czech glass, swarovski crystal and so much more. I am always bringing in new beads for my handmade jewelry from Barbara over there! In fact, over the past week I made my very own glass bead. Yep, I MADE IT with my VERY OWN HANDS! How cool is that?

Oh yeah, back to McCue's Mercantile. Of course we are very excited about the move and hope that you like the new shop. Hours are Wednesday 1:00 - 7:00; Thursday and Friday 1:00 - 9:00 and Saturday 11:00 - 6:00 other hours are by appointment only.
